Tax Link Manager Elected to Tennis Canterbury Board

From a young boy, first learning to hit a ball in Winton, to the wily veteran on the seniors circuit, Bruce McDowell has always loved tennis. Now Bruce is excited to give back to the game he loves by serving on the Tennis Canterbury board (TCRI). Bruce has previous experience with Burnside Park Tennis Club, having served on their board for many years. His appointment to the TCRI board, however, gives Bruce the opportunity to make positive changes on a much larger scale.

Bruce says: “I am very pleased to be joining the board at such an important time. The earthquakes had a huge impact on the lives of all Cantabrians, and the Tennis community was no different. I look forward to working with the board and facing these challenges head-on.”
