Tax Link Christchurch Office Relocates
Due to damage sustained during the February 22nd earthquake our offices at 184 Armagh Street will be demolished. Fortunately all our staff evacuated the building safely and we already had a full backup of our electronic data off site. On April 26th we were granted access to the offices and recovered hard copy client documents and current office files.
While we have established temporary offices in staff homes and will continue to offer home visits to clients, we also have an office location within the Four Avenues at Unit 3, 307 Hereford Street. This office will be open from 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday - Friday and appointments may be made by phoning the office on 379-8735.
You may drop off your tax records at our office during office hours however if you wish to see a particular staff member we ask that you make an appointment as not all staff will be working in the office on any given day.
If you wish to post your records to us, please post to PO Box 13-333, Christchurch 8141. Please do not post records to our Hereford Street office address.
We are pleased to be able to continue to provide full services to our clients and address any of your concerns or needs during this difficult time. We appreciate that many of our clients have been severely affected by the events of February 22nd and that the loss of business and personal tax records is just another of the worries that you shoulder at present. The future?
Our office in Hereford Street of course is only an interim measure. Tax Link is committed to providing a quality cost-effective accounting and taxation service and we look forward to returning to new premises in the Christchurch CBD as soon as possible. We are already in talks with our existing landlord as well as with the owners of other undamaged buildings and we are sure that our new premises will be modern, convenient and, above all, safe for all those who visit us.
